Over the years Johnson has established that he is one of the best running backs in the entire world. The truth is, many think that he is one of the very best players on the planet no matter position. Though he's not received as much honors as a number of his counterparts, Johnson is certainly one player who's sure to put up strong numbers year in and year out.

Even at a young age it was evident that Johnson was going to be considered a great baseball player. That began to show throughout his high school days at State College Area High School in State College, Pennsylvania. H-e performed both linebacker and running back high-school, and finished his job with 2,159 yards.

After high school Johnson decided to simply take his sport to Pennsylvania State University. In 2002, Johnson was able to rush for over 2000 yards; a job that's only been achieved by a handful of players. As a result of his remarkable season in 2002 Johnson received many awards including the Maxwell Award for the top college player, the Doak Walker Award for the top college running back, and the Walter Camp Award. To top all this down, Johnson graduated with a diploma in Integrative Arts.

Johnson was written by the Kansas City Chiefs within the 2003 NFL Draft, and has been with the staff ever since. During his first couple of months Johnson didn't see a large amount of activity, but this changed dramatically in 2005 when h-e played in all 16 games. This resulted in him ending the season with 1,750 yards and 2-0 touchdowns. Johnson followed this up in 2006 with 17 and 1,789 touchdowns.

Even though Larry Johnson does not have all the endorsement deals or get a large amount of attention, he's still among the best players in the NFL..
